A native of the North Woodward area, he has been the pastor of Grace Baptist Church since its founding in 1956. He also serves as director of the Birmingham Bible Institute. Pastor and Mrs. Whitfield have hosted 16 excursions to the Bible lands and sites in the Middle East, and Europe. Pastor Whitfield’s academic degrees include Bachelor of Religious Education (BRE), Master of Religious Education (MRE), and Doctor of Divinity.

Craig Hurley has been involved in a variety of ministries.  He was the Pastor of a Deaf Church in Los Angeles and taught in a Christian School.  Before coming to Grace Baptist Church in January, 2001, he was Associate Pastor in a church in Durham, North Carolina.  His greatest desire is to accurately reflect Christ in his service to others.  Pastor Hurley has earned a B.A. and M.Div. degree from Bob Jones University.

Don is a graduate of Northland Baptist Bible College with a youth ministries degree. His desire is to direct people to Christ and teach them how to become more Christ-like in their everyday life. He is married to Christy who is a graduate of Bob Jones University, and together they are striving to help people grow spiritually and to never stagnate in their faith.
